The institute is organized based on three axis:
• Board of Governors
• Vice-Chancellor
• Vice-President of Academic Affairs

The Board of Governors
The institute's Board of Governors being appointed by the Iranian Ministry of Science, Research and Technology. They are involved in general policy making activities and establishing of the Institute strategy. The board members are introduced in the following:
• Dr Alireza Bagheri, the Board President, Professor of Civil Engineering Department, Khwaja Nasir al-Din Tousi University, Tehran/IRAN.
• Dr Ali Kheiredin, Official Representative of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology in the Board of Governors, Vice-Chancellor of Semnan University, Semnan/IRAN.
• Professor Hormoz Family, Vice-Chancellor of the Institute and Professor of Civil Engineering Department, University of Science and Technology, Tehran/IRAN.
• Professor Ali Akbar Ramezanianpour, Professor of Civil Engineering Department, Amirkabir University of Technology, Tehran/IRAN.
• Dr. Shekarchi Zadeh, Professor of Civil Engineering Department, Tehran University Tehran/IRAN.
• Mr. Ezzatollah Vaezi, Deputy of Cultural and Students Affairs of the Institute.
• Mr. Hedayotollah Sotoodeh Anvari, Deputy of Administrative and Financial Department of the Institute, Lecturer of Islamic Azad University (Roudehen Branch), Roudehen/IRAN.
• Mr. Mirbozorgy, Official Representative of the Semnan Province Governor and Garmsar city Governor at the Institute.

Vice-Chancellor
The Vice-Chancellor is the chief academic and administrative officer of ASIHE. The Board of Governors elected Professor Hormoz Famili as the Vice-Chancellor of the institute in 2012 . Dr Famili leads the institute and is responsible for monitoring and promoting the efficiency and good order of ASIHE. He is also responsible for providing strategic direction of the institute and for developing the institute's high level contacts.

Vice-President of Academic Affairs
Eng. Alireza Farrokhi was appointed as the  Vice-President of Academic Affairs in 2014. He provides the executive leadership in assisting the Vice- Chancellor of the institute in the overall planning, organizing, and controlling of the academic program areas.Eng. Alireza Farrokhi responsibilities includes: planning academic programs, supervising the Academic Team Leaders, monitoring personnel performance and chairing academic committees
