Under the Act of establishing Higher Education Institutions and Non-governmental Universities, Allaodole Semnani Institute of Higher Education (ASIHE) started operation on October 2006 with the determination and endeavors of seven experienced professors in three educational disciplines and with 400 students. Presently, the institute has nearly 1300 students and it is offering eight undergraduate and six postgraduate courses on different subjects of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Construction Project Management (More information about ASIHE courses may be found here . ASIHE's graduates, in addition to their institute, may apply for Master and PhD courses in other universities and Institutes in Iran or abroad.
ASIHE is established over 4000 square meters in Haji-Abad village near Garmsar city (Semnan/IRAN). The Institute has remarkable educational facilities such as engineering laboratories, library, language laboratory, computer center, technical workshops, student accommodation and sports and recreational center.
ASIHE, as a higher education institute, has five important goals:
1. Sharing and distributing of knowledge to the new generation.
2. Educating of youth, aimed at developing competent civil engineers and architects for the preservation and progress of the nation and society.
